Dryer overload or failure
A rising dew point at high consumption can indicate overload, lack of regeneration or a technical failure of the dryer.
Products · Sensors · Dew point monitoring
Moist compressed air puts processes, products and pipework at risk. Dew point measurement provides continuous evidence of air quality.
Why monitor?
Pressure dew point indicates the temperature at which water condenses from compressed air. A stable trend demonstrates dryer performance and protects pipework, products and sensitive processes from unnoticed moisture.
A rising dew point at high consumption can indicate overload, lack of regeneration or a technical failure of the dryer.
Recurring moisture peaks can occur due to disturbed condensate drains, insufficient precooling or entrained water.
Limit violations can be assigned to layers, load peaks or standstills before corrosion, iced lines or moisture-sensitive products are affected.
In practice
The sensor measures pressure dew point. The measuring chamber provides a defined sampling point; pressure, flow and installation are matched to the application.

The chamber holds the sensor and routes the compressed air sample to the measuring point.

The reading is documented as a trend in Airleader visualisation and monitored for limit violations.
In the Airleader system
Current measured value and status are visible directly in the web visualization.
10-second averages make deviations, shifts and recurring patterns comparable.
limit violations are reported; Values are included in energy, quality or maintenance certificates.
