Why monitor?

What this parameter reveals about your compressed air station.

Flow rate shows when and where compressed air is consumed. Together with electrical power, pressure and production data, it distinguishes necessary process demand from avoidable losses.

DETAIL

Leakage outside production

A permanently high basic consumption during breaks, at night or on weekends shows leaking nets, open valves or unconnected consumers.

DETAIL

Unusual consumption peaks

Short or recurring peaks can indicate blow-off processes, impulsive large consumers, incorrect operation or an unfavorably dimensioned memory.

DETAIL

Inefficient compressed air generation

If the energy input increases at the same amount of air, excessively high pressure, inappropriate compressor combinations or technical problems worsen the specific performance.

In practice

Choose the right measurement for dry and wet compressed air.

Insertion and inline sensors are suitable for treated compressed air. Directly after the compressor, upstream of the dryer, condensing moisture requires a suitable differential pressure method. The ranges below relate to the versions shown.
