Molex: coordinated control for a growing plant
An audit helped a growing factory coordinate twelve compressors across four rooms. The published comparison shows air demand rising much faster than energy costs.

The operating challenge
Independent machine controls created a pressure cascade. Too many compressors ran together, while operating problems were difficult to spot.
02 · Implementation
What changed
Peerless Energy recommended a connected plant header, an additional 3,000-gallon receiver and Airleader control. The existing Ethernet network linked the rooms and enabled central monitoring.

Historical project results, including a comparison with December 2010. Increased air demand and energy costs describe production growth, not an absolute energy reduction. Savings cover the system improvements.
